Hine-Pū Te-Hue - Paper Print

Ko Hine-pū-te-hūe tēnei. This is the goddess of the hue (gourd), a holder of Te Riri o ngā Tungaane and all who partake in angry exchanges, in war and in nguha. Hinepuu-te-hue, the strong and courageous daughter from the union of Hine-rau-āmoa and Tāne Mahuta. Hine-pū-te-hue who uses her tamaiti, hue, from the union with Te Moonehu, as the vessel to hold the anger and keep others safe.
